Designed with high versatility in mind, this plug-and-play dock is built to work with most USB 3.1 Type-C computer systems, regardless of the operating system. Connecting it adds one USB 3.1 Type-A port and a USB Type-C port, both of which can transfer data at up to 5 Gb/s with compatible devices. This mini dock also supports one external monitor to provide a larger viewing space for presentations or enhanced multitasking. A 3840 x 2160 resolution 4K display may be connected to the HDMI 2.0 port, or you can use a 1920 x 1080 screen with the VGA output. There’s also a USB Type-C power passthrough port that delivers up to 45W of power using the included power adapter to help keep your compatible laptop charged. Other features include a 3.5mm headset jack, a USB 2.0 Type-A port, and a Gigabit Ethernet port that allows you to connect to compatible wired networks.

Enterprise Networking and Security

The Lenovo USB Type-C mini dock supports advanced network manageability features such as PXE and Wake-On LAN. Using it with select Lenovo ThinkPad systems with MAC address passthrough support helps IT administrators to quickly identify the system in large networks.

The mini dock’s integrated connector cable securely locks into a built-in holder, allowing you to quickly pack it away in a bag or pocket for easy travel.
